Yeah, I'm gonna have to be a fan of this one - great portions, had this really good soup with thick noodles, kabobs of fish, tofu, and some other "stuff" mixed in, and three small bowls of tasty appetizers. It was officially called Oheng Udong - fish cake, U Dong Noodle, and Vegetables - I prefer to just call them thick noodles. Great place to check out in Terminal Square.

The food here is OK, but I have to wait for 20 ~ 30 mins even if it is not dinner time and further more, when I asked them how long I have to wait, the younger waitress despised us and just left a word 'almost'. I have never experienced such kind of awful service. Due to that reason, I will never dine here anymore!

I've been upstairs HMart to eat several times and don't think I ever tried this Korean fusion restaurant before. I didn't know what to get So I tried the Combo Menu where you pick two: I had Chicken Kas and Chicken Bulgogi. Combo comes with Miso soup, white rice, macaroni salad and one other side I have had before but am not sure what it is called. It tastes like potato. Very good. I thought the portions were very sizable and I was full. I would like to come back to try their fried rice and noodle dishes. Sounds very interesting and what I received was tasty.

I love Asian food courts. Always great for cheap eats. Situated on the 2nd floor, above the H-mart. Came here after some grocery shopping downstairs. Food (8.5/10) = Ordered the following dishes: Portions were large. A lot larger than expected. Came here with my Dad. Ordered 3 dishes because I thought portions would be small, based on the menu pictures. I was very wrong. 1) #9 Marinated Pan Fried Pork w. Rice, Soup, Side Dishes ($8.49) = This was tasty. Large flattened piece of fried pork with a BBQ-like gravy on top, all blanketed over with an egg omelet. Sweet and savory. Dish comes with rice, soup, macaroni corn mayonnaise based salad, and another salad with thousand island dressing. 2) #23 Noodles Mixed w. Vegetables ($6.95) = Julianne cucumber and carrots, bean sprouts, shredded cabbage and lettuce, hard boiled egg, all arranged on top of noodles. Comes with a bottle of gochujang (red spicy sauce), for you to add your desired quantity of heat. A clean, fresh, cold noodle dish. Also comes with soup. 2) #34 Seafood, U Dong Noodle, Rice Cake, Fish Cake ($8.95) = Large quantity of noodles and rice cakes. Shrimp, squid, and mussels. Not fresh seafood, but it's what I would expect from an Asian food court. Still, the flavor was good. Dish comes with soup. Ambiance (7.5/10) = nice, clean, vibrant signs of the menu with pictures of their food. Service (8.5/10) = Service was awesome. Appeared to be a family run business, with the children working at the cash register. Was very accommodating to certain dietary restrictions, and was extremely helpful with making recommendations. Awesome service. If the young girl that helped me is reading this review, thank you again. Overall opinion = like I said, I love Asian food courts. Find some of the best food at the best prices. The quantity of Mong Shil Tong Tong's dishes are huge. If you haven't been to this place, definitely recommend you check it out as well as the grocery downstairs (H-mart).

Not sure what it is about this place, but I've been eating here 7-8 times a month on average for the past 3 years and have yet to get even slightly sick of it. Sometimes when I'm not in Philadelphia, I get cravings for the chicken-kas, which is one of my favorites here. The chicken is always fried-to-order, and comes hot and crispy. The breading is the light, flaky kind they usually have in katsu-don, and is just plain darn delicious. It's served with a mysterious brown sauce, which is good, and comes with a small amount of shredded lettuce, a bit of macaroni salad, and a bowl of miso soup, which balances everything out nicely. They also have pork-kas, which can be served with or without stir-fried kimchee (delicious), fish-kas (two large slices of katsu-don style fried fish with tartar sauce, rice, and a small salad), and a really nice entrée-sized tuna salad, which has about three different kinds of shredded lettuce and carrot, dressed with sesame oil rather than normal salad dressing. The salad is large, so I get it whenever I crave vegetables, but sometimes the raw tuna isn't very fresh so I usually substitute it for chicken, which they're more than happy to do. They've recently expanded their menu to include more conventional dishes, like stir-fried fish and such, but I've yet to try them. Overall a great place; not super fancy, but definitely tasty and tried-and-true.

#10 rocks! Beef BBQ is delicious and not spicy at all. To make it spicy you add either kimchi or some hot sriracha... Delicious! Comes with side of miso soup, rice and kimchi

My goodness... I just can't figure out why I waited so long to find this food court. This particular choice in the H Mart food court is every bit as good as anything I've had there so far. I chose the Don Kas combo which came with Chicken Galbi, Kimchee, macaroni salad, and a side of tofu with rice and miso soup. I do have to say that perhaps they overdid it with the starch. But I didn't care. That Galbi dish... unbelievable! I may get it alone next time I'm there. Although the fried pork is so tempting to me. I have to imagine that this is as close to authentic as you can get. And for 9 bucks for the combo, it's perfect for this cheapskate!

Mong Shil is like the middle child that everyone forgets about. To the left is all the main korean dishes you could want. To the right is all the koreanized chinese dishes you could want. the middle has random dishes that doesn't neatly fit into the left or the right. Fortunately, it's hodgepodge of stuff on their menu makes for some interesting eats. Worth a try or two... Perhaps three. I recommend going blind or bring your 20-sided dice and take a roll. Crit!

A great little stall serving Korean food above the H-Mart in Upper Darby. Generous portions, tasty food, great prices. Get any noodle dish and you'll be very happy. I tend to skip seafood here-they often overcook it. Otherwise you can't go wrong.

Used to be better. their portion gets smaller. The ajumma is always so nice. their ddeokbokki/rabokki is my favorite. their soondae is boo boo (tasteless). their yangnyeom chix are pretty good. their donkatsu is pretty good as well.

This is worst food I have ever had. I ordered the kimchi beef soup.... They serve me ramen with cut up hot god inside...I am not even joking it was really a hot dog... I don't recommend anyone go here...

THIS PLACE IS TO DIE FOR! My husband and I with our two toddlers go to this place any chance we get! The food is genuine Korean food that tastes great for its price. The owners are so nice and generous, the food is presented so nicely and the taste is out of this world. My personal favorite is the HAMUL DDEOKBOKI (#34 on their menu) that comes with udon noodles, seafood, fishcake, and ricecake that comes served on the sizzling grill! My husband loves their tofu kimchi soup that comes in a hot pot (#17 on their menu). My kids love any of their cutlets or their popcorn chicken which is also very delicious. If you want to try some good korean food that is not over priced at all, try this place! You won't regret it!

I've been here a few times and usually like to get rice dishes. This time I went with three other people and this is what we got (one person ate at a different stand): #29 Ssal Guksu (Rice noodles, beef, vegetables.) D Pop Corn Chicken (Smaller portions of marinated boneless chicken.) #9 Pork BBQ Deopbap (Marinated Pan Fried Pork w/ Rice, soup, side dishes.) I liked the BBQ deopbap. I love their rice and the side tofu that they give. I, personally, am not a fan of soup so my friend tried mine and she said it was a bit salty. I tired some of the popcorn chicken which was okay. I had this another time and it was good though. Didn't try the the ssal guksu though. I also like this place, and the other stands around, because they let you get free cups of water at the place you got food from. And they always have BIG portions that I cannot finish!

Hands down a favorite of mine for Korean food in Philly. It is what it is - it's a joint in the food court above H Mart in Upper Darby. But the food is good. It is GOOD. The spices are done right, authentic Korean style, and the prices are totally reasonable. You would pay more for the same foods in a restaurant and the restaurant food wouldn't be as good. I could come here every day if I lived just a bit closer!
